507AD: The Sword in the Stone

Great news - Duke Corneus of Lindsey liberates London! Besiging it with his knights led to the citizens rising up against their Saxon oppressors. From his new residence in the White Tower, Corneus invites The Countess and her new husband to visit, which they do, taking with them a number of their favoured knights. A wonderful time was had by all.

During their stay, the knights took the opportunity to visit St. Paul's Cathedral where they had heard tell of a mysterious sword in a stone. The gossip was that only the new hig king could pull this blade from its resting place. Naturally, they all had to try their hand at releasing the sword, but saddly none prevailed!
